1. 工資的種種表達方式

wages:（復數）工資；支付給手工或勞力的短期間的工資（日給，周給）

salary: 支付給從事知識性和專(zhuān)門(mén)性的工作者的固定薪俸

pay: 薪水、工資等的最普通用語(yǔ)，特制海陸軍人及其他在政府部門(mén)工作者的薪水

income:收入；收益

2. admit (admitted, admitting)

vt. 承認、供認，準許……進(jìn)入、接納、招收

vi. 容許；承認

admit sb. (sth. ) into/to sth. 允許某人(物) 進(jìn)入

celebrate vt. 慶祝，賓語(yǔ)是節日或事件

congratulate 的賓語(yǔ)不是所慶祝的事，而是所祝賀的人

congratulations to sb. on sth. /congratulate sb, on sth. 祝賀某人某事

e.g. I will congratulate you on your passing the college entrance examination.
