Teaching aims（教學(xué)目標）
1． 掌握基本英文姓名的讀法。
2． 幫助學(xué)生比較中英文姓名的不同之處，通過(guò)了解中英文名字的區別，培養和提高學(xué)生對中外文化差異的敏感性和鑒別能力，加深對本國文化的理解和認識，培養學(xué)生的世界觀(guān)意識，以及初步的跨文化交際能力。
3． 能制作本人的ID card.
4． Language points（語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)）
1．要求掌握以下句式：What’s your/his /her first/ name? Jack. What’s your/his/her last /family name? Smith.
2．要求掌握以下詞匯：first name, last name, boy，girl, boy’s name, girl’s name等以及Green, Jack等名字。
Grammar(語(yǔ)法)： 比較中英文姓名的不同之處。
Difficulties: (難點(diǎn)): 1. 中英文姓名的區別，主要是排列順序。
2. 男女姓名的區別。

教學(xué)設計說(shuō)明
1．這個(gè)問(wèn)題是為了操練日常用語(yǔ)及對姓名的提問(wèn)法；同時(shí)為這堂新課的學(xué)習做好鋪墊。建議讓多個(gè)Ss作答。鼓勵他們大膽開(kāi)口。然后再由同學(xué)間交流，并請同學(xué)表演。可以采用“連珠炮似的提問(wèn)”（老師提問(wèn)，學(xué)生迅速反應）和“連鎖操練”（學(xué)生任意提問(wèn)或排頭開(kāi)始一一提問(wèn)至排尾）方法。T在操練期間板書(shū)這些詞。
2．此問(wèn)重點(diǎn)操練his,her my your這幾個(gè)物主代詞的用法及英文名字的使用。建議T用夸張語(yǔ)調重讀這些詞并用彩色粉筆板書(shū)。
3．該問(wèn)題在操練時(shí)可以允許學(xué)生用自己的漢語(yǔ)名字也可以用自己在前

2. Presentation（呈現新知識）
（1）T: (從復習中引出) So, we are friends now.
You are Wang ping, Zhang Xiaodan. 4
T: Now, look at these pictures. We have some famous persons here. Do you know their names? (展示幾張外國名人的圖片。)
(Bill Gates, George Bush …)
T: Bill Gates, Bill is his first name. Gates is his last name.5
While Zhang Xiaodan, Zhang is her first name. Xiaodan is her last name.
（2）Get the Ss to practice the following dialogue in pairs.

(3) Play a game.
Ss put on their false front to act as famous persons, and say: Hello, my name is Jacky Zhang. (first name+ last name).
Then make a short dialogue between the Ss and the famous person, let them know each other. 7
3. Work on 3a（完成P3 3a）
(1) Read the list of names in the exercise. Ask students to guess which names are first names and which are last names. 8
(2) Point out the sample answers: the L for last name next to Green, and F for first name next to Jack. Then have students finish the exercise on their own.

幾堂課中取的英語(yǔ)名字。T有意識地寫(xiě)下一些名字在黑板上。
4．T可以寫(xiě)一兩個(gè)學(xué)生的中文姓名在黑板上。再把幾個(gè)外國名人的名字也寫(xiě)在黑板上，目的是為了進(jìn)行對比。English names vs. Chinese names
5． T板書(shū)first name, last name并請學(xué)生跟讀。學(xué)生的反應可能較慢，講解時(shí)需要T放慢語(yǔ)速，并重復此問(wèn)題。可給中文幫助Ss理解。
6. 請同學(xué)回答，注意正確性；同桌和四人組互問(wèn)。
7. false front指面具，事先應做好準備。
8. 可以做好課件將姓名展示給學(xué)生。要求掌握基本英文名字的讀法。
9．介紹一下美國的十大姓氏。在美國，萬(wàn)人以上的大姓有三千多個(gè)，其中最大的姓氏是Smith及十大姓氏的排列。
10．可以讓一部分同學(xué)問(wèn)，一部分同學(xué)回答。
11.英文姓氏趣味性：有些是由表示地名，面貌，環(huán)境特征，顏色身份或職業(yè)的詞演變而來(lái)，如Brook(小溪)，Hill(小山)，White(白色),Smith(鐵匠)等。
4. Work on 3b（完成P3－3b）
(1) Let the Ss tell first names from last names, tell boys’ names from girls’ names in exercise 3a by doing exercise in the book (3b). 12
(2) Now, we have learnt many names about boys and girls. Do you know how many foreign names? 13
Name game.
Competition: list names as many as possible, see which group gets the most names.

12．注意幫助學(xué)生比較中英文姓名的不同之處；特別是男女名字的差別，了解中西文化的差異。可列舉一些常用的男子名和女子名。
13. 讓學(xué)生盡可能說(shuō)出所記得的英文姓名并給與評價(jià)與獎勵。
14．小組活動(dòng)。盡量復述前面同學(xué)的話(huà)，多練習名字和物主代詞的用法。
15.這練習主要對所學(xué)內容的進(jìn)一步鞏固。練習詢(xún)問(wèn)名字和不同的人稱(chēng)代詞的用法。
使所學(xué)句型生活化。
特別注意畫(huà)線(xiàn)的詞的用法。
16． 因為前面已經(jīng)兩人組或四人組的形式進(jìn)行了交流。這個(gè)游戲可以處理為全班性的活動(dòng)來(lái)進(jìn)一步拓展。學(xué)生可以離開(kāi)座位找朋友，作自我介紹、互相認識和介紹他人，也可以找老師交流。
目的是讓語(yǔ)言真正生活化，自然化。并且培養學(xué)生大膽應用英語(yǔ)來(lái)鍛煉自己的英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)能力和交際能力。
