1. 黑色永不過(guò)時(shí)。英國人偏愛(ài)深色調時(shí)裝,尤其以黑色為首當其沖的流行色,并且經(jīng)久不衰。黑皮夾克、黑超短裙配高筒黑皮靴--一身漆黑是時(shí)尚女郎標準的時(shí)髦行頭。時(shí)裝店、鞋店里的黑色主題永遠擺在最醒目的位置。

2. 簡(jiǎn)單即美。英國人另一穿衣原則即簡(jiǎn)單就是美,他們講究簡(jiǎn)潔的造型配合合體的裁剪。

3. 無(wú)年齡區分。與素裝女郎形成鮮明對比的是花枝招展的紅裝老婦們。英國的老太太都可謂"老來(lái)俏"。身著(zhù)鮮艷裙裝,濃妝艷抹、珠光寶氣的老婦人比比皆是,似乎在與年齡較勁。西方人沒(méi)有從服飾上區分年輕與年老的概念,在時(shí)裝店購衣只有號型區別,聞所未聞所謂"中老年服裝專(zhuān)柜"。老年人盡可隨心所欲地打扮,使出渾身解數拼命讓自己顯得年輕漂亮。
