一、本單元的教學(xué)目標:

up, the Mid-Autumn Festival ……等短語(yǔ),能理解dragon, Halloween

……等單詞和the Dragon Boat Festival ……等短語(yǔ)。

2、掌握介詞at, on, in表達時(shí)間的用法及其在不同交際情景中的運用。

3、運用wh-questions互相交流有關(guān)的人或事物的信息。

4、理解和掌握some與any的基本用法。

5、了解中外一些重要的節假日及主要慶祝方式、培養學(xué)生對中外文化的理解能力,提高

學(xué)生對中外文化異同的鑒別能力,培養學(xué)生的世界文化意識,增強學(xué)生對民族文化的自豪

第 一 教 時(shí)

Comic strip+ Welcome to the unit+vocabulary

一、 教學(xué)目標

1. 能聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)單詞holiday, monkey, why, mooncake, May, card, rice 并了解

其含義。能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì )說(shuō)單詞celebrate, ghost, king, festival, Christmas, Easter,

monkey短語(yǔ)dress up, as the Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day能理解單詞dragon,

Halloween,短語(yǔ)the Dragon Boat Festival, rice, dumplings。

2. 能了解中外一些重要的節假日,節假日的背景及主要慶祝方式,從而激發(fā)對本單元的

學(xué)習興趣,并初步培養自己的世界文化意識。

3. 能掌握一年中幾個(gè)主要節日的名稱(chēng)并了解其日期。

1. 教具準備:實(shí)物投影儀,幕布、四幅卡通漫畫(huà)圖片(34頁(yè))、六幅圖片(第35頁(yè)Part A)

、一張人物圖片,(《西游記》中孫悟空的形象的面具)。臺歷,賀卡,四幅圖片(第40頁(yè)

PartB)。

2. 教學(xué)準備:請學(xué)生準備一張白紙并兩人一組討論寫(xiě)出他們所知道的節日名稱(chēng)(中文)及

臺歷,賀卡等本課所需實(shí)物或圖片。

3. 板書(shū)準備:黑板上預先寫(xiě)好課題Unit 3 Let’s celebrate!

五、 教學(xué)步驟

Task 1(第34頁(yè) Comic strip)

1. 教師用實(shí)物投影出示第34頁(yè)卡通圖片,指著(zhù)圖片說(shuō)Look! We can see Eddie and

Hobo again.

(圖片1)問(wèn):What are they doing? Can you guess? 幫助學(xué)生回答:I think they’re

celebrating their holiday.學(xué)習并操練單詞:celebrate, holiday。

Holiday-the day you don’t have to go to school.

Celebrate-do something for the day.

(圖片3)問(wèn):What is Eddie doing? (He’s dressing up as a ghost)用手勢或其它動(dòng)作

、表情教學(xué)生短語(yǔ)dress up as……和單詞ghost。然后問(wèn):Do you like dressing up as

a ghost?

(No, we don’t). Eddie doesn’t like, either.

(圖片4)問(wèn):What’s Hobo dressing up as now?(He is dressing up as Monkey King).

學(xué)習單詞monkey和king.教師出示孫悟空圖片,Do you know him? We often call him

Monkey King.(可以讓喜歡孫悟空的學(xué)生利用面具模仿其造型)Who can dress up as

Monkey King?

2. 教師領(lǐng)讀,學(xué)生跟讀。學(xué)生兩人一組練習對話(huà),并輪流扮作Eddie和Hobo,幾分鐘后,

讓一些小組到前面表演,鼓勵學(xué)生自由發(fā)揮,盡量用自己的造型。

Task 2 (第35頁(yè)Welcome to the unit)

1. 老師讓學(xué)生展示事先準備好的節日清單并稱(chēng)贊:Very good! 介紹課本內容:In this

unit, I will help you to learn more about the Festivals in

English.學(xué)習單詞festival(s),并寫(xiě)在黑板上。用實(shí)物投影出示第35頁(yè)Part A圖片(按以

下順序介紹)

圖片2-→圖片4-→圖片6-→圖片5-→圖片3-→圖片1

中國節日:直接用英語(yǔ)教短語(yǔ)Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat

Festival,并寫(xiě)在黑板上。

西方節日:允許學(xué)生先用中文猜測,然后告訴他們:In English, we call it

Christmas/Easter/Halloween,并逐詞寫(xiě)在黑板上。

領(lǐng)讀數遍單詞、短語(yǔ)后,再用實(shí)物投影出示第35頁(yè)Part A圖片,詢(xún)問(wèn)學(xué)生:What’s the

name of the festival? 然后學(xué)生兩人一組活動(dòng),互相問(wèn)答。讓他們有充分的感知。

2. 告訴學(xué)生:My favourite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. Do you know why?

Because I like to eat mooncakes.學(xué)習單詞mooncake,可用簡(jiǎn)筆畫(huà)來(lái)表示,相信學(xué)生能

猜出其含義。

板書(shū):My favourite festival is……

要求學(xué)生仿照黑板上的例句介紹自己的喜好情況,展開(kāi)小組交流活動(dòng)。老師可巡視,進(jìn)行

必要幫助。

3. 打開(kāi)書(shū),帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生富有感情地朗讀Part B,采用男女生分組分角色方式朗讀。

學(xué)生兩人一組練習對話(huà),再進(jìn)行表演。

4. 讓學(xué)生用自己的信息替換劃線(xiàn)部分,鼓勵他們用真實(shí)情況來(lái)表演對話(huà),可四人一組活

動(dòng)。為方便學(xué)生自如地表達,老師可提供以下詞匯并板書(shū):

eat chocolate/make pumpkin Lanterns.

eat rice dumplings/get Christmas presents/(此舉也為以后的閱讀教學(xué)帶來(lái)方便。

5. 選出幾組同學(xué)到前面表演,可讓他們看黑板上的選用詞匯。鼓勵他們增加動(dòng)作,提高

表演欲望。在表演以后,領(lǐng)著(zhù)其他同學(xué)給予掌聲鼓勵。

1. 教師問(wèn):Which special days of the year do you know? 把days of the year寫(xiě)在

Day,Children’s Day,Teachers’ Day,National Day,Chirsmas Day等寫(xiě)在days of the

他們制作的實(shí)物或圖片。接著(zhù),展示圖片1:What’s the name of the festival?(It’s

Halloween).告訴學(xué)生:This is a pumpkin lantern.把lantern寫(xiě)在黑板上。最后展示圖

片3。讓一學(xué)生用第35頁(yè)Part B的對話(huà)發(fā)問(wèn):Which is your favourite

festival?(Easter)Why do you like it?(Because I like to eat chocolate eggs .(用

手指著(zhù)圖片中的chocolate eggs),再板書(shū)chocolate。

2. 介紹課本內容:Today we’re going to learn something about Halloween .In

China, we do not celebrate Halloween. But in the USA , people celebrate it.

用法。

2. 重點(diǎn)概覽。

1) 本單元學(xué)過(guò)的節日名稱(chēng):Halloween, Christmas, the Dragon Boat Festival,

Easter, the Mid-autumn, New Year’s Day, May Day, Children’s Day, National

Day

2) cut out pieces of card, about 10cm×5cm

cut out 剪出 a piece of 為一張,一片,一首等意思,后面修飾不可數名詞。例如

,a piece of meat, three pieces of bread

3) Write a sentence on each flash card.

Each的意思為“每一個(gè),各個(gè)”。例如each of us

The cakes are $ 5each.

4) Draw a picture on the other side of the flash card to give you a hint.在卡

片上另一面畫(huà)一些圖畫(huà)作為提示。

On the other side of…意思是“在…… 另一邊”。

No. 1 Middle School is on the other side of the street.

5) Look at the cards during 10-minute study time and try to remember the

sentences, questions or expressions on the card.

10-minute是形容詞性詞組,minute不加s

如:I will have a three –week holiday.

6) I want to buy Simon a present.

Buy sb. Sth 為某人買(mǎi)某物,也可以改成buy sth for sb

上面句子可改為:I want to buy a present for Simon.

7)Which one is your umbrella?

One 是指示代詞,意為“一個(gè)”,復數為ones.

例如:I have two apples. One is big, the other is small.

Those shoes are too small. We must buy some new ones.
