教學(xué)目標:
1. Enable to introduce some important festivals of China and western countries.
2. Enable to grasp the new words and sentences.
3. To teach students to know more custom and culture of different countries. It’s good for their studying and using English.
教學(xué)策略:
以舊引新,通過(guò)孩子們之前所學(xué)的有關(guān)節日的知識,教師引導學(xué)生自主學(xué)習有關(guān)圣誕節的相關(guān)內容
教學(xué)方式:
在學(xué)習課文前給孩子設定學(xué)習任務(wù),通過(guò)孩子閱讀、理解、討論課文,解決問(wèn)題來(lái)突破學(xué)習重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)。
設計chant、游戲和寫(xiě)作等情境活動(dòng)讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步鞏固學(xué)習內容,提高孩子綜合運用知識的能力。
教學(xué)過(guò)程:
一、Preparation.
Free talk.
T:Hello, boys and girls.
S:Hello, teacher.
T:How are you today?
What’s the weather like today?
What’s the date today?
通過(guò)簡(jiǎn)單的問(wèn)候讓孩子們快速進(jìn)入學(xué)習狀態(tài)中,并且引出日期的表達方式。
二、Presentation
T:How many months are there in a year? What are they?
本課表達日期是要用到月份,通過(guò)這個(gè)環(huán)節來(lái)復習之前學(xué)過(guò)的12個(gè)月份。 T:I’ll show you some pictures about festivals. Guess what festival is it?
1、 Easter
T: What festival is it?
When is it?
2、 Thanksgiving
T: What festival is it?
When is it?
(Show:in+月份或季節)
3、 National Day
T: What festival is it?
When is it?
(Show: on + 具體日期)
T:My birthday is on the first of October. When is your birthday?
通過(guò)之前所學(xué)節日的有關(guān)圖片讓孩子們復習一些節日的名稱(chēng)和時(shí)間,從而引導出在表達在某個(gè)月份、季節和幾月幾日的介詞的不同用法。其次通過(guò)表達自己的生日來(lái)進(jìn)一步鞏固日期的表達方式
三、Practice
1、T:Which festival is it ? 觀(guān)看網(wǎng)絡(luò )搜集到的和圣誕節相關(guān)的視頻資源。 S:Christmas.
T: Let’s say something about Christmas. 大屏幕出示網(wǎng)絡(luò )搜集到的和圣誕節相關(guān)的圖片,復習有關(guān)圣誕節的相關(guān)物品的英語(yǔ)名稱(chēng)。
T: (Show some pictures) What are they? (適時(shí)板書(shū))
2、T:Let’s listen and look at some pictures.
對圣誕節的來(lái)歷、文化、習俗有一個(gè)大體的`了解,滲透西方文化。
3、T:Show five questions on the screen. Read them and try to understand. T: Play the video. Listen to the dialogue.
T: Read the dialogue and find the answers.
運用任務(wù)型教學(xué)方法,讓孩子們帶著(zhù)問(wèn)題來(lái)自主學(xué)習課文,教師引導學(xué)生解決問(wèn)題。
4、 T: Listen and repeat.
5、 Look at the words on the blackboard and describe Christmas.
讓孩子們在學(xué)習完對話(huà)后能夠簡(jiǎn)單的復述出課文。
6、 Say a chant.
將課文內容改編為一個(gè)chant,進(jìn)一步鞏固課文,從而調節課堂氛圍。
四、Production
1. Fill in the blanks.
2.Guessing game. Show some pictures of festivals(來(lái)自于網(wǎng)絡(luò )的各個(gè)國家節日的場(chǎng)景圖片)。 Describe them in your groups. Then show a festival and four red packets. Choose a red packets and answer the questions about the festival.
通過(guò)選紅包猜節日的游戲,讓孩子充分了解區分每個(gè)節日的特點(diǎn),提高孩子學(xué)習英語(yǔ)的興趣。
3、 T:My favourite festival is Halloween(Show the passage and read it)Can you tell me more about your favourite festival? Write them on the paper.
通過(guò)前面對節日做的鋪墊,讓孩子能夠獨立描寫(xiě)一個(gè)節日
五、Summary
What do you know about Christmas?
對本課知識做一個(gè)系統的歸納總結,進(jìn)一步鞏固。
六、Homework
Listen and repeat the dialogue.
Write an email to your friend and tell him or her about your favourite festival.
