1、接that 從句及其從句的時(shí)態(tài)。

　　make sure 如果是現在時(shí)，或者祈使句形式(原形)，that從句的時(shí)態(tài)應該使用現在時(shí)間范疇的時(shí)態(tài)，如：一般現在時(shí)，現在進(jìn)行時(shí)，一般將來(lái)時(shí)等。

　　例句：

　　They want to make sure the newcomers don't get a look-in.

　　他們不想讓新人有露臉的機會(huì )。

　　Make sure the draining board, sink and plug hole are regularly disinfected.

　　滴水板、水槽和塞孔一定要定期消毒。

　　Make sure that your meal won't be smothered with white sauce.

　　千萬(wàn)不要把自己的飯菜上都涂滿(mǎn)白汁沙司。

　　2、make sure 除了接從句外，還可以接不定式，但不能接動(dòng)名詞。

　　例句：

　　Make sure to give positive feedback when they show signs of improvement.

　　確保一旦他們有改進(jìn)時(shí),你都能給予積極的回應。

　　If you saw a traffic accident, make sure to mark down the licence of the car.

　　如果你看到交通事故, 務(wù)必記下汽車(chē)的牌照號碼。

　　You are a manager now. Make sure to treat your underlings well.
